Varmint Village Cease Fire & Safety Practices
- How It Works: The cease fires calls for Varmint Village correspond with those called by the long-range shooters.
- To maintain the highest level of safety for all shooters, Varmint Village shooters do not go down range when cease fire is called.
- All Shooters at Varmint Village will need to cease fire for those shooting at 200-600 yard range so long range shooters can check/post targets.
Range Safety Rules: Keep your muzzle pointed down range (towards the targets) or straight up at all times.
- NEVER allow your firearm to point left, right, down toward the ground, or the parking lot.
Varmint Village Hours
- Varmint Village and the long ranges close an hour before the normal range due to limited light past 100 yds.
- Shooters on these ranges call their own cease fires, so we do not send shooters out to the long ranges an hour before closing so it does not interrupt the last hour of shooting.
Wednesday-Friday: The long ranges shut down at 5 pm, so 4 pm is the last call for new shooters to get started on the Varmint Village range.
Saturday & Sunday: The long ranges shut down at 6 pm, so 5 pm is the last call for new shooters to get started on the Varmint Village range.
Last Cease-Fire is 30 minutes prior to range closing time. Pro Shop closes 30 minutes prior to range closing time.
